1. Fees All course and other related fees are payable by Semester in advance. All moneys received are placed in the Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management Trust Account (for overseas students fees).
The School reserves the right to refuse entry to any student whose fees are unpaid prior to term commencement. Non financial students will not be permitted to undertake any assessments until outstanding fees are settled. In addition, Academic Transcripts, Statements of Attainment and Course Qualifications will not be issued until all outstanding fees are paid.
International Student Fees must be forwarded by International Bank Draft or Telegraphic transfer in Australian Dollars to ASTHM. The School's Bank details are listed on your invoice.
2. Payment Plans Students who find they are not in a financial position to pay the full fees in advance may apply to the Student Services Department for a "Payment Plan". Please refer to section “Payment Plan Options” for further information.
3. Late Fees The School reserves the right to charge interest on any overdue fees. Fees not paid by due dates will be collected by an appropriate Debt Collector and any additional charges incurred for collection are also payable by the student. The school reserves the right to suspend or cancel the enrolment of any student whose outstanding fees are not paid. Refer to Deferment, Suspension or Cancellation of a Course 2.1.
4. Re-Assessments Re-assessments will incur a fee of $100.00/$50.00 which must be paid at the time of booking. Students will not be assessed if the fee has not been paid.
5. Deferral, Suspension or Cancellation Students who wish to defer, suspend or cancel their enrolment may incur a fee penalty. Please refer to “4. Refund Policy” on your Enrolment Form.
6. Re-issue of Statement of Attainments and final course qualifications The School reserves the right to charge a fee of $30.00 for each reprint of a Statement of Attainment or a final course qualification.
