Academic Appeals

The school goes to great lengths to ensure integrity and fairness during all teaching and assessment. However, in the event you wish to query a result or assessment outcome of any subject you have completed you should:

1. First speak with your Lecturer within five (5) days of formal notification of your results.
2. If your Lecturer is unable to assist with your concern, you may then request to speak with your Head of Department.
3. Should you not be satisfied with the Head of Department's determination, a formal appeal in writing may be lodged with the Student Services Department, no later than five (5) days after notification of the Lecturer and/or your Head of Department's determination.

Once you have made an appeal in writing:
1. Your appeal will be heard before the Management Committee at the next available weekly meeting.
2. The Management Committee will reply to you in writing of the outcome of your appeal within ten (10) working days of lodgement of your appeal.

Please note that the decision of the Management Committee is final.

Based on the outcome of your appeal the school will initiate its Continuous Improvement Policy to improve future practices wherever necessary.
