This policy applies when other avenues have been exhausted. These avenues include but are not limited to: Mentoring, Informal feedback, Counselling (P&P 111 - Client and Stakeholder Feedback, P&P 42 - Counselling/Pastoral Care)
The types of offences which can result in some form of disciplinary action being invoked usually involve some form of misconduct on the part of the student.
Offences considered to be a breach of discipline can involve:- - disobeying or disregarding a lawful instruction - committing any act of misconduct - negligence or carelessness which results in injury to another person or damage to school property.
This procedure does not apply to substandard academic performance.
