ASTHM also has an extensive scope of registration to deliver Vocational Education and Training. Our registration is with the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to Advanced Diploma Level in Hospitality, Tourism and Events.

The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) is an Australian government initiative that establishes and profiles outstanding capability in this field.

THE-ICE delivers excellence in tourism and hospitality education to international markets (via collaboration with governments, education institutions, tourism organisations and industry), and to international students (via the endorsement and profiling of member programs).

As a business unit of the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC), the world’s largest travel and tourism research centre, THE-ICE is chaired by Sir Frank Moore (STCRC Chairman) and directed by Dr. Perry Hobson.

THE-ICE has an independent Advisory Council comprising some of Australia’s leading tourism and hospitality academics and industry experts.
