Diploma of Events
Australia's convention and event industry has been one of the fastest growing and contributes more than $8 billion to the national economy every year. Australia is developing a reputation as a destination that can bid for, manage and produce conventions and events of all shapes and sizes like the 2000 Olympics, Rugby World cup, Red Bull air race and Grand Prix.

The Diploma of Events has been developed with industry and offers a balanced integration of theory and practical through combining a number of carefully selected nationally recognised vocational units providing students an opportunity to put their learning into practice even while they complete their course.

Through our integrated work experience program, students also become familiar with the practicalities of working in the conventions and event industry in areas such as events sales, functions or events service and theming and staging. Students throughout the work experience program are required to develop their own leadership styles consistent with a Diploma level qualification.
